Service Description
Yoga Nidra is considered the "yoga of sleep"- a reclined guided progressive relaxation meditation with lots of cozy support using props. Yoga Nidra has many research-backed benefits beyond supporting healthy sleep, including enhanced concentration and cognitive function, emotional regulation, stress/anxiety reduction, support for chronic pain and PTSD. It even boosts the immune system and supports healing through enhanced cellular regeneration. While the intention of a Yoga Nidra practice is to settle into a state of consciousness between sleep and a gentle wakeful awareness, (the practitioner may or may not fall fully asleep), studies have shown that 20 minutes of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to 1 hour of regular sleep when it comes to restoratively resting both body and mind. It's a great alternative to a mid-day nap! Additionally, regular Yoga Nidra enhances the quality of nighttime sleep. It is a powerful practice to build into your regular routine!

Cancellation Policy
Clients can cancel or change a booking up until the time of the event. No cancellation requests or refunds will be honored after the start time of the event. We respectfully ask that if you are feeling sick that you stay home and reschedule your service for when you are feeling well. If there are no pre-registrations one hour prior to the start time of a class, that class will be canceled, and the listing will be removed from the schedule. We appreciate your understanding.
